I had a local shop install my gsc 272/264 cams. they feel alot better on the top end. my problem is that my engine makes alot of noise. I had them take it apart and check everything, but it now makes more noise than when they first put them in. I am very frustrated with this.

Is it tapping at idle. If so did the shop bleed your lash adjusters?

they did not the first time. So I had them take it apart and bleed the lifters. they told me they did it, but the shop owner was an a$$, he fought me on doing that and said it does not need to be done, I don't believe a word he says. now when i got it back the engine was making more noise than before. I don't want him to touch anything else.

Are any of you running the GSC S1's in your IX's? If so how do you like them? How do they sound, and were you impressed with the cams? I ordered mine today and should have them installed this weekend. I would also like to know how is the idle, lope wise. i love the way cams make a car have the lope sound.

Thumbs down? Really? I had a question, and this was a good place to ask it. Whether or not this thread was dead or not, people still view it. The question was to anyone who was running S1's, not the OP. Give yourself a pat on the back for being immature.
