Buschur Stg4 + Methanol (dynosheets)

Mods: Buschur Stage 4, TME 6.5, Aem Ems, Methanol injection.

Was very impressed with the power that was made on the methanol. Even more so that the pumpgas methanol combo made more power than the just race gas. Shows how well the Buschur products and the power they can make. The methanol injection was run with 100% methonal, no 50/50 mix. Boost would spike 28psi then fall to around 20-21psi by redline.

Run# 16 is Pumpgas only

Runs #35,36,37 are with pump gas and methanol.

It was set to come on at 4psi and ramp up as the boost comes in harder. I am sure the customer will chime tomorrow when he gets home as he has a long drive to Florida.

Any idea on what the power difference would be with a stock '05 turbo instead of the TME turbo?

Not sure how long it will last, think that will vary depending on how long you keep it in boost. As for the TME 6.5 turbo, the only thing I have noticed is that it spools alot quicker, but still makes the same power the stock turbo puts out, I think the real winner is the MR turbo.

Methanol injection

When I had my race car we tried running gas vs. methanol and found the car had more Tq and much better off the corner power with methanol.

Bad points: Made engine run too cold at times and hard to warm-up. And you need to flow a river of it to make a motor run on straight Methanol like we did.

Oh, and did I menshion it's corrosive...
