I know it isn't track season all over the US, like here in New England, so not everyone has had time to check it out.... But has anyone broken the MR Transfer Cases yet or destroyed the clutches or did Mitsu infact make it stronger, and the LSD help it out? I know the 03's weren't good considering I broke 2 of them but still...

www.evolutionmr.net i think 2 or 3 people have already switched out their clutches on their MRs, so acd helps the transfer case, but clutches i think are still same crap!

 

I don't know if they made it actually stronger but from my understanding the LSD replacing the open diff is what makes it stronger. My quaife is due in the middle of this month thankfully cause my 04 is howling pretty bad (all good until the shots of nitrous)

 

I suspect the 05 ECU's built in 5000rpm launch control may also be contributing to the TC's longevity..
