Lightbulb Anyone notice that after "spirited" driving that the oil..

level drops?
not by much....but it's noticeable


like after a day at the track....


anyone else?

i mean, it is possible...i think every car uses a tiny bit of oil between oil changes, but never noticed after just one drive. Also, im not sure here, but the evo spits oil into the intake system, thats why people get an oil catch can. i dunno man, just some suggestions

after really driving it hard for a long time it makes sense. i know i have to add oil at least once between my oil changes. that's not driving it hard a lot. just every now and then.

because I check oil and water every morning...and after a race/track day......I see the difference

Well you know that 1 drop of oil is consumed for every 30,000 power strokes right...i read that in my engines book freshman year at college i think, so after high revving, and speeding up the whole four stroke cycle, you'd probly notice something to that effect
