best turbo kit under 4k

i was looking to upgrade the turbo, and was wondering what you guys think is the best kit for under 4k and spools as close to stock with about 450-500 whp?

Lmao 500 WHP wow

Anyway to answer ur question i have the Greddy T67 turbo kit and i am very pleased although it does spool at around 4000 its a great kit though it really is a blast to drive especially up top now...

what about buschur's BR500? Youl prolly need an AEM or something other than flash though.

he wants close to stock spool... aem 1800 roughly... turbo kit 3500, its not cheap to make 500 horse, and be reliable, btw wasnt 430 horse just done on a stock turbo..

Persoanlly I think the 440 really wouldnt be worth the money. The kit would be ~2600 plus the AEM, another 1800. And you might get what, 20-30 hp over the stock turbo if you tuned it really well...f-that. Im sure the buschur kit is great, but the turbo seems too close to the stock 16g for the money.

Basically theres no such thing as stock spool and 500 whp on our 2L evos. If you went with a stroker kit, you might get close to stock spool with a BR500 or an AMS 3076 (or equivalent) and still meet your hp goals. Other than that, youre gonna have to sacrifice some spool time or use nitrous to get what you want. At least for now. Hopefully some new turbo developments will take place in the next 6 months-year. I smell a few companies working on 20g turbos behind the curtains..... Maybe Dave will try again after the competition.

Or if you get really ambitious you can try tuning in anti-lag for idle/partial throttle conditions.

so far im leaning towards the ams3076. i spoke to eric at ams, and he stated this one
would be the closes to stock turbo spool at only about 300rpm higher that stock
