Its 10.5:1. I think stock is below 10:1. Rich = safe. I like rich .

I am getting 28-30mpg on the freeway. Even my in town mileage has gone up to 21mpg.

Yeah, rich usually is safe but that is a little over the top. It is ok for your street tune but the race tune needs to get leaned out.

The race tune was meant for 28 psi. I could only reach 25-26 psi. Shiv left it rich so I could easily turn up the boost and be ok.

It would be fine, but what happens if you get a tank of bad gas or other possible bad situations that may appear?

How much Hp am I losing by running 10.5:1 instead of 11:1? 10hp? 20hp?. Is the 20hp worth it to me? No.

Like I wrote earlier, Shiv made 25hp more on pump gas, but backed it back down for safety.

Your fear is really unfounded, I mean 11.0-1 is really REALLY safe. Running as rich as you do your gona foul your plugs after a while. What if you get bad gas? What if you get into an accident? what if you slip and fall and crack you rhead open? What if you wake up one day and are missing your *****?

Seriously running 11.5 or less is more then fine, some people run 12.0 and that is fine, I keep it at 11.5 for my preference, anything under 11 is just WAY rich, you are missing out on a lot of power, smoother powerband, spoolup, and throttle response Fuel tuning is MASSIVE on a turbo car 11.0 is just as safe, seriously try it Your modding your car right? If you were REALLY scared, then you wouldn't mod it, right?

That makes no sense at all. So what if he only gets 91oct. The car still doesn't need to be in the mid 10's in the A/F's. He will either have to run a little less boost or less timing. It's not like fatining up the A/F will make the power that 93oct does so what's the point.

I am going to let Shiv answer the tuning related questions. All I care about is that my car is a lot faster then it was before and I can beat it up all day long (at drag strip or road course) w/ no ill effects. If Shiv feels like 10.5:1 is what is need for our crappy gas to do it, then so be it.

10.5-1 is overly rich, you don't have to be an expert tuner to know that atleast an 11.0-1 should be used even on 91, and again just use timing advance and retard.

Thanks for the tuning lesson. I'll keep that in mind the next time I tune a car.

Don't worry about the hearbreaker dyno...take it to the track and see how it does. I think I tuned in at 266 on a MD after my cams and tune, but I can promise you its a ton faster than a previous pull on another dyno at 251

I really don't care about the dyno numbers, its the difference that counts. The car has excellent power on pump. It was a night and day difference coming from the stock turbo.

As for taking it to the track, well I am about the worst driver on the net. My best 92 octane run was a 13.1@111mph w/ a 2 sec 60'. I couldn't put a Buschur stage 4 into the 13's.
