What would you like to know?

I re-dyno'd on a dynojet and through down 372hp/330tq on 92 oct.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=160649

I fixed my wastegate issue and can now boost 30+psi. I did a compression test and it read 160 across. So far so good.

I have the new SMART setup for my XEDE, but I still haven't installed it.

thanks for all the info
the 3076 is good but i would like to see some one go over 450AWHP with thim .

but it seems that if i go with the GT35 i could get my target of
500 WHP.

thanks once more

I think my GT3076 is only good for around 450whp at around 30psi. Shiv thinks it will be around 80-100whp more at 30psi which would be around 470whp. I don't think I could hit the 470whp mark w/o 110 or higher octane and 30+psi.

I gained 40whp at 26 psi on race when I first got dyno'd so if I add that number to my dynojet numbers I would have 412 whp. With 28psi, on 100 oct, I could get around 440whp.

With a 60 trim compressor on a GT3076 you should be able to hit 500whp at 30psi. The spool up would probably be only 300RPM better then a GT35R though. IMHO, I would go with a GT35R if you want 500whp.

+1.........I am debating between the 3071 and 3076 on pump and alky. what i am looking for is how much more power will the 3076 make over the 3071 on pump and alky? also, is the spool up difference worth it to get the the extra power of the 3076 over the 3071?

i sat in a 3076 equipted car... you feel nothing until 3800 rpms... THEN, it's take off.

the 3076 on 110 will make something in the vacinity of 500-550hp... no more...

the 3071 on the same will make 400-450hp maybe 470, some have done it. but that's really it i thinks... you'll be hard pressed to break a usable 500 hp on the 3071. can't tell you about 3071 spool tho...

All EVO turbo kits should come w/ a .63 A/R hotside. If you find one that doesn't, don't buy it. I know Buschur really doesn't like the GT3076. He thinks that everyone should buy a GT35R instead. This makes me believe that he is using the the GT3076 w/ the largest compressor inducer (more power, but more lag). In which case a GT35R would be better choice. I use a smaller compressor inducer which gives me better spool up at the expense of power.

A 3076 and 3071 will make roughly the same hp on pump gas only. If you are going to run alcohol above 25psi then a GT3076 will make more power. As for spool up, I have only seen one good dyno graph comparision and that is between Ludikraut and Jaylenospoolboy. Both are tuned by w/ XEDE's. I don't know why the 3071 spool is the same. My turbo seems to spool up better then both.

That is how mine feels. I think a 3071 would have a hard time hitting 450whp.

could be because of the dyno at vishnu... apparently it has baby rollers.
