I think I have the lowest cammed evo ever!?!?
OK I dont get it. I went and got my car tuned and it just plain sucks. The tune is nice just the numbers suck. I cant figure out what is holding me back. Maybe you can help.
Ok I have:
3in TBE with cat delete
Injen Intake with upper ic piping
HKS 272 cams in and ex
Walbro 255 fp
Fic 650cc Injectors
Hallman MBC 22psi
UTEC
NGK BR8ES gapped .026
I put down 307hp and 294tq!!!! WHAT!?!?!?!
Mark from tt tuned it. He thought it was low too. Other guys there put down 340+ with similar or less mods.
There was one guy there with just a tbe, mbc, and intake and put down like 304/302.
I checked compression and each cylinder was exactly 150.
No boost leaks or anything.
Im just baffled.

What were the A/F's and can you post a dyno graph? No leaks huh. Are you sure? So you pressurized the system and it held? Did you dyno your car stock or with less mods to see what your base was?

These arent iridium plugs so the gap should be .026 I believe.
I was running 93 octane.
The dyno was at FIS in McKinney TX. They have a mustang dyno. Mark from tt did the tune.
I dont know the exact a/f but here is a pic of the dyno sheet:

I dynoed at 280 without cams, utec, injectors, or tune. Most people with just a tune, tbe and mbc are making 300 or more.
No I didnt do a pressure test but My boost gauge shows 21-22psi with no taper what so ever. And no spikeing either.
I thought each piston just needed to be within 10% of each other. Is that really low? I need to do some checking then.
I dont have the money to do a flash after the chunk of change this custom tune cost me.
Thanks for the help guys.

I don't think your compression is too low. With a longer duration cam you will have a slightly lower compression reading than with a stock cam. As far as I've seen, 150 psi is within the normal range for a cammed evo.
well it s a mustang dyno, they do read kinda low compare to the dynojet, without a base line from your stock state u ll never know the improvement
and waht s up with those injectors? i d like to see your air fuel ratio
and get a compression test again 150 seems a bit low, i beleive 170-190 is the norm on evo's.
