No, only if it's at 0 when the car is off, and even then you can't fully trust it... my gauge is off by 2 pounds...

I guess what I mean is if it holds (whatever) boost level all the way out without dropping. Wouldn't a leak cause it to drop or fade? Or not necessarily? Seems like I shouldn't be so dumb as to ask this question, but what is a better way to check for a leak, if it seems to be holding just fine?

A lot of things cause the boost to taper, it's set-up stock to taper... The best way to check for a leak is that vacuum seal test thing... a mitsu dealership can do it for you

Even if his boost gauge was off by 5 lbs ot would be off by 5 lbs at 20 psi and not off by 0 at 15 psi. If he is showing 22 psi and holding to redline + or - one to two psi then he should be good. If he boosts up to 22 psi and leaks down to like 17 then I would worry about a big leak. But on a dyno someone should have heard a leak if it was that bad.

Just my thoughts.

That's what I meant. It was kind of hard to articulate online

I have 272/272 and my Compression reads 170-175 across the board. 150 does seem kinda low. Lower compression would tend to mean less power, or a loss of power. From what I have read you should be in that 165-180 range. just my .02

Who did the cam install? Are you 100% cetain that everything went back together correctly? I dont know how much power you would loose by being 7 deg's off in either direction....
