350whp WITHOUT Cams

Hey guys....I wanna put down like 350whp-380whp but I dont want to do with cams. Currently I have a TBE, intake, MBC, and AFC II. Is there anyway that I could possibly do this without having to install cams. I really dont want to mess with that yet....So I was hoping what mods would help me come close to this without having to go through cams. Any info appreciated...

UICP/LICP, Bigger FMIC, fuel pump, throttle body, equal-length exhaust mani, higher PSI on race gas?

If that doesn't work, then maybe a turbo upgrade?

Just out of curiousity, why don't u wanna do cams? U could do all the stuff people mentioned above, but its gonna cost u more in the end to get that amount of horsepower. I don't mean to be disrespectful at all, im merely trying to find out what your reasoning is.

Just throw some 264's in there, you'll be able to hit the 350 easier, you don't need cam gears, and the idle is still pretty smooth.

cams will open you up to another level of power. you'll be able to make the most of your mods especially with a proper tune...i did my own cams, its not that hard. use evomoto.com's cam install tutorial

I agree completely. When I first got my car I this was my EXACT goal. 350whp with no cams. As you can see from my sig, I decided to get the cams and look at my mods and power. I am 4whp shy from 350. The cams are not too pricey and REALLY make the car pull hard up top. I reccomend them.

i dont wanna do cams because i dont want to go through the hassle of cams.....it might not be a hassle to those of you who could install yourselfs or have the money to pay for install. plus on top of that i dont want the lumpy idle, i have heard 264s idle like stock but dont offer the same performance as 272s. I will eventually get them just not at this point of time...

Why on pump gas?

Honestly, it's much harder to get serious hp with pump gas, and to do so will probably take not only some serious mods that require serious mechanical knowledge, but you will also need some serious tuning skills. If you don't mind paying for all of that, then it may not be so hard, but if you go with cams and race gas, you can probably hit your goal with very little trouble.

Is this a bet or something? I am not sure why 350-380whp w/o race gas and w/o cams would be so important, but extra complication/parts/installation/cost are less important (if this is the case).

Oh, if you think cams are a hassle, then nothing I suggested will do you any good, since they are much more of a hassle...

and i don't get what everyones deal is making a big deal about lopey idle. Its not like it almost shuts off or anything, and it makes it sound like a damn race car.
