The reason it spools faster is because with the stiffness of two springs the wastegate stays closed and does not leak boost prematurely. Premature boost leak from the wastegate will kill spool.

BTw, I use the the big blue spring and small yellow spring. It gives me 18psi w/ out boost control. Also, the guys at ATP told me that 2 springs gives better spool up and less boost spikes.
