Anyone with a GT3076R

I have this turbo on my car and I would like to know when other people are making full boost on it. My turbo starts spooling around 3k, but I am not making full boost till around 4500. What are other people seeing? I don't really want people to guess either. I would like people who have datalogged it to answer. I have seen way to many people claim that they make full boost by 3500 rpm but after datalogging they see that they are only making 15psi at that rpm. Thanks

I am getting 18psi by 3800-3900rpm in 4th gear. I have not had my car tuned yet so 18psi is just the wastegate spring. I have no datalogging though, just a good eye.

Edit: I also run a HF cat too. So my spool up may not be as good as some. My turbo has a .63 turbine housing and .60 4" ported shroud.

I have a .63 backside with a to4s compressor housing. I don't trust the eye though. My eye said the same thing but the dattalog says something else.

Its funny that I see this come up. I get full boost which is about 19.5 psi or 20-21psi via map sensor in 3rd at about 4100rpm+/- in 3rd. I would say 4200 at the very latest, in 4th I can get full spool before 4k probably before 3900 or right at it I would think. I just tested 3rd this morning. I have been using this turbo now for about 2k miles though so far.

Exact same turbo TO4S .70ar frontside / .63 backside.

I will post data logs as soon as I get a chance just to be exactly sure. Because what you say above tends to be true somtimes.

Here are some datalogs for you. One in 3rd and one in 4th. Hope it helps give you a general idea. Looks like I was right on what I though.

As you can see in my signature, I've got one. I have not yet finished the "build up" so I don't really have any information to share. It does build boost rather quickly at 6000ft ASL. Alot quicker than I expected it too.

Thanks for the logs. That's about what I am getting with mine. I might be a little slower but I think my wastegate is opening a little early. What size spring do you have in your wastegate.

I had to get the stronger spring because the pressure was opening the wastegate early and it was making the turbo spool slow.

I have thought about it to see if it would improve things at all. Where did you get your spring from and how much? What color for what PSI?

I am running a big blue(1 bar) and a small red(.4 bar) together. So I don't really need a boost controller I can just run off the wastegate. I might pull out the small red though becuase I like to be able to adjust the wastegate opening with the profec and I want to be able to turn down the boost just in case I get a bad tank of gas. The springs have not totally settled in yet though, I am boosting about 22.7 on the two springs when I should be boosting right over 20. You can order them from atpturbo.com or roadraceengineering.com. They have a list of the springs with pressures on rre's website.

Have you guys noticed that the turbo seems to spool a little faster as it gets broken in? It seems like mine is starting to spool a little better.

BTw, I use the the big blue spring and small yellow spring. It gives me 18psi w/ out boost control. Also, the guys at ATP told me that 2 springs gives better spool up and less boost spikes.
