Angry Problems with the clutch :(

Hi After making some modes to ma EVO 8:
Custom exhaust, Megan racing manifold, HKS sparkplugs and GReddy PRofec B-Spec II Boost Controller (recommended by my local tuner and I’m not sure that is the best choice but.....). Btw it shows 290 whp. on the Dyno and I don’t know if this is a good result for this modes because here in Sofia (the city I leave in Bulgaria) there are only 3 Evo 8 and only mine is tuned!
After few days with the new modes (and some aggressive driving) my cutch began to slip a little when the boost comes on in a range of about 2800-3100 rpm.
Did somebody have the same problem like mine????
Now I am not sure what to do? Is it better to buy a new stronger clutch disk or to buy a new aftermarket clutch?
Thank you for the help in advance

P.S. It have only 9000km. (3500miles)

Unhappy

Join the club and buy a new clutch buddy... That's the free extra option you get when you buy and EVO... a p.o.s. clutch... you can thank Mitsubishi for that one... I do feel you pain, I went through the same thing.

-Buy an Exedy twin.
-Learn to drive again.
-Be happy you get to tell your countrymen "Hey I'm the first guy to toast the clutch on the Evo" :P

Exedy twin NICE But not enough cash!!! I have to buy the clutch from my money or otherwise I have to tell to my father:
-“Father father I need 1500 bugs 4 the clutch because I’m driving like an Idiot”, not a good idea 

hah. yeah that wouldn't go over well. i wouldn't recommend putting a "puck" clutch or discs in an awd car. but there are many other good and cheaper alternatives out there. look into getting an ACT clutch. around 500 bucks and a lot of people like them in their evo. i have them in two of my 1g dsm's and i have never had a problem. good luck.

Well for the cost you pay for labor to install the clutch, you might as well pay more and buy an ACT clutch.

I would not go with a ACT. I have one and it's impossible to shift fast above 6500 RPMS
