Walbro problems?

If you have a Walbro fuel pump, please indicate if you have had any issues or not, and if they were resolved, or not. Thanks.

I've had a Walbro GSS342 fuel pump for 15 months now. No problems, except that it's noticeably louder than the stock fuel pump.

I also have the GSS342 pump and have had no problems either. It's a lot louder than stock, but that doesn't bother me.

Are you looking for others who have a specific problem with the Walbro?

If you voted that you have a problem, please expand on what it was, and if it was resolved. Thanks.

guys I dont have any problems with mine, but im not sure how you guys are wiring yours up. If you wanna get the most power from it, what you do is this. Find the wire that turns the fuel pump on, cut it from the connector clip. Run a 16 gauage wire straight from the battery to the back seat to a relay and then to the fuel pump, connect the factory turn on wire to the relay, ground the pump anywhere in the back. Now it will get enough power to truly flow the full 255lph. On stock wiring it usualy wont flow more then about 220.

Had one in my swapped/turbocharged civic hatch back in the day. Never had a problem with it. Sold it to a friend about 1.5yrs ago, still runs perfectly fine. Have one in my Evo now, no problems at all.

Mine works fine. I only hear a slight noise coming from the rear seat when I'm just about at an empty tank.
