Whats the best INTERCOOLER for under $1000???

Like the title says..

I'm currently in the market for a nice front mount intercooler. But I don't want to cut/trim A LOT of pieces off the inside of my bumper, i'd like for it to just fit nicely with minor trimming if necessary. I also don't have any undertray, i just have a APR carbon fiber splitter.

I already have custom lower intercooler piping done.

Now all I need is a Intercooler + upper IC piping (if included).

My limit however is $1000

I'm sure there must be some good ones out there for under a grand.

So what do you guys recommend?

Show me some intercoolers, and post a pic if you can.

Thanks in advance all!

TURBO XS;

You can use it with no undertray, or no crash bar but not both.

Here we happen to love the APS core. It is a very well designed core. When you ask the suby guys what is the best from mount 95% of them say APS. The EVO core is pretty big and uses the stock piping. And has less then one PSI pressure drop from the outlet of the Turbo to the throttle body!!!!

Here are some pics

actually, you can get almost any cooler for under a grand, i think only the greddy type r is the only one more off the top of my head and that was made for seriously upgraded turbo. the only reason i changed mine was cause i destroyed the stocker and a new one was like 900 bucks!

I got the Injen intercooler, fits like stock. No cutting required. No complaints, I got it for $855.00 from LogicPerformance.com
