I have the buschur on my car and it works as advertised. No spikes, no leaking.

You want a 150% reliable and safe controller go buy one of the 400 dollar EBCs, or better yet, go buy a standalone EMS... I have the non-cockpit controll Halman and it requires very little tweaking with temperature change.

Almost any MBC will be reliable. If the screw backs out, it will lower boost. I seriously doubt that you could ever do anything to make it self-tighten and raise boost pressure.

EBC's are nice because they have pretty colors and beeping sound effects. I have the HKS EVC 5 on my RS. On my GSR, and on every other turbocharged car I have ever owned, I've used a manual boost controler. I've used Buschur's, I've had Dave Johnson's, I've had Hallman's, and I've had the Joe P. They're all the same. The only difference is which one's screw will attract surface rust first. BTW, the surface rust will nor affect the operation of the boost controler.

In-cab dial-ability can be a bad thing if you don't have self control, or if you aren't 100% sure what you are doing.
