We have done them with squirters and without them. We haven't seen a difference in the cars reliability yet.

That Jun kit is nice allows slightly larger displacement but allows the revability of a 2.0, so it is all gains and no compromise BUT I have also heard a rumor that the JUN setup has weak rods, but not sure at all.

That Crower Setup looks nice, especailly the Steel Crank Shaft.

They built ONE motor for us about a year an half ago when we didn't have the time to do it.

Which 2.4 block do you use? There is one from the 93-03 eclipse, galant. I'm guessing that this is the one.

Ive been reading an awful lot about this, and if you want to have the ultimate in durability and engineering, niether but if a choice were to be made, the 4g64 is it. The deck height and rod ratio is much more optimal that a stroked 4g63, and as far as the trannies go, Im not so sure the 6 speed MR tranny is as stout as the 5 speed.

BTW, the crower kit is totally awesome. Pricey, but selectable stroke for different displacements and a billet crank, which in all fairness, is made by Crower...one of the best. I'd probably pick a 2.2, like the Jun. Apparently those and the 2.0's are the best for durability.

However!

Has anyone confirmed that everything from the Evo will bolt up to the 4g64 block (and which one?)... bolt for bolt, hole for hole? I don't think anyone has talked about whether there are specific modifications that have to be made in order to make this block a "drop in" procedure.

Is reliability and durability sacrificed when you stroke the motor? Anybody know for sure?
