I compare exhausts to pants... You can roll without em' for the "Free-est" feeling, but society frowns on it. After that, it's about function, style and personal preferece. There's loud, light and cheap (think shorts). There's super light and painfully loud racing exhausts (think speedo). There's sporty moderate HKS types (jeans) and finally stock, and quieter for grown up suit wearing types.

Look out for slip-fits, neck downs, mild steel, other than stock hanger locations and fitment issues.

 

THat Greddy Ti sounds awesome. Anybody know how much HP is gained from the Buschur, Greddy, and Magnaflow ti?

 

they all should be about the same hp gains since the Greddy doesnt have much bend and is a N1 pipe which is a straight(les angles) pipe. Buschur weighs 16 pounds and the Greddy is 9 pounds

 

But do you guys have any numbers???

I think it's a matter of personal preference and supporting mods.

I love the way my full titanium race Greddy sounds with the Kelfords. The cops don't,LOL.

I did a lot of listening to of other Evos too.

A zombie thread. Anyhow, the best exhaust for performance on a turbo car would be an open hotside, but that wouldn't be practical so you would have to get something lite that fits and has the least amount of restriction to flow.

 

I recommend ETS. It sounds great and performs really well to. Looks really good as well. I dont recommend Buschur at all. I think their exhaust sounds like crap. If you like how an SRT4 idles then you might like it. I had a buschur on mine. It ended up having bad exhaust leaks, and the downpipe is rubbing a hole in my transfer case. Buschur refuses to fix the issue. Def lost all my respect.

Go with ETS, you will not be disapointed.

Hello guys anybody has any experience with borla atak i heard it on a lotus exige in tunnel and i am impressed ( i did not hear myself ) Has anybody fit this exhaust on an evo.Mine is a evo viii and i am looking for an upgrade.Since i spoke to the guy he changed the whole exhaust system sound looks and materials look amazing but a second opinion matters!
