Anyone ever have to "fake out" the Knock sensor?

I can't seem to get rid of my knock sensor. Do you think that my mods would be causing extra noise causing my CEL to come on?

Has anyone ever tried to fake it out? I know that this isn't the right solution, but what else can be done?

Would mixing 101 octane with 91 help?

According to my SAFC II, between 0 and 10ish. Most people say that the SAFC II isn't accurate and really isn't to be used for our cars, so I honestly don't know the true knock count.
