Why people should heed the advice.....

This is why people should heed the advice of NOT running "certain" types of sheetmetal intake manifolds.
It has come to our attention that there are ALOT of different variations of the Magnus Intake manifold. This seems to be one of them. Look closer into the next fews pages for clarification. I believe it is page 3.
AGAIN I REPEAT, this is NOT a MAGNUS manifold, but instead a FAKE. It is not nor was it my intention to bash anyone directly or indirectly.

As a side note which I did not have a chance to take a pic of, but will, the "venturi's" have come apart and sounded like a can of marbles when under boost. Wonder what the knock sensor would think....

Edit: Pic up

Excellent, freaking just excellent. This is the NEW improved version with the NEW improved velocity stacks. NICE! haha

So, let me set you straight though, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN RUNNING NITROUS OR ALKY INJECTION!! That was the problem and why it failed, that's the case with each and every failure that has ever happened on one of that companies products. haha

Sorry you had to do the repair but I sure did enjoy your post.
Thanks dave lol
Yeah nitrous was the culprit.......and the alky.... and the.....

EDITED PUBLICALLY: It seems to be a knock off Magnus from the posts made by MAGNUS himself on page 3 of this thread.

Actually DTM, the first picture you posted showed the Magnus badging on top of the plenum. Did you edit the pictures?

wow, that really sucks. I'm sure the customer was not too happy to see his investment end up like that.

Dave,
I just wanted to show a more detailed pic of the crack. So I uploaded a different image.
