I have no been proven wrong. Any dyno testing that has been taking place all of a sudden to disprove me have NOT been on the old original intake that I claimed didn't work. This is from the information I am gathering. I NEVER said the new stuff does not work, my claims were to the old style intake that I was sure to specify and post pictures of.

As far as my posts. I have made plenty more, just none in a while. Most of those threads probably have been cleansed or lost in server updates. You have only been here since June 2007, I have been here a bit longer. See...I can read the little profiles at the side as well.

Ok ... So your admitting his intake manifolds that are currently in production do make more power than the stock one?

Have fun arguing.... this thread was not put up to talk about power and what makes what. Bottom line is this is one of many that have failed and cracked.
Knock off manifolds will crack around the seem on the plenum. We have seen these as well.
Run one and be happy with it. I personally could care less.
If you are able to read side profiles, maybe you should spend some time testing the manifolds yourself and disprove the theory in practice.

Have a nice day

You are the only one claiming or trying to say at least, that they do.

So what was the purpose of thread then? To slander other shops names and then drag them through the mud?

Well either they do or don't. Dave is only denying the old ones don't make power over stock ones that haven't been in production for several years. Its either yes they do or no they don't. From what David said it can be taken that he is admitting the new ones do make power just fine unless he says otherwise.

Clearly you can see that this is not one of our products. Not our welds not our plenum, not our velocity stacks. Ours is octagonal at the top side this one is not.

Pwn'd by lack of research.

So it must be some variant of a chinese knock off then? The vacuum ports are on the wrong side on the one that failed as well.

Excellent, freaking just excellent. This is the NEW improved version with the NEW improved velocity stacks. NICE! haha

So, let me set you straight though, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN RUNNING NITROUS OR ALKY INJECTION!! That was the problem and why it failed, that's the case with each and every failure that has ever happened on one of that companies products. haha

Sorry you had to do the repair but I sure did enjoy your post.
You are looking for ways to discredit magnus and will even quote incorrect or unverified information and love people for posting it just because it's against magnus. People can make their own choices but I wouldn't trust a word you have to say, at least on this topic because this post alone makes your agenda painfully clear. I dare say you even sound desperate. Which would make sense since your manifold test has been contradicted by

a) Marco's even better testing with all run data and dyno sheets shared with lots of video footage and a trusted individual standing by
http://www.teamnabr.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=27030
b) a post on your own forums by the guy you referenced as having bought your old style manifolds you were getting rid of (the one you claimed to have told that the manifold didn't make power)
http://buschurforums.com/vbforum/arc...p/t-17522.html
c) other shops testing
mike huml from slowboyracing post on dsmtuners (thread now deleted)
I have never seen a Magnus intake manifold loose power on my dyno - EVER!

EVO, STI, WRX, DSM - etc -

Do you get the true potential of the manifold without any tuning? No.

Do you gain 10-12 HP above 5k regardless? Yes.

Do I sell his version and my own? Yes.

Am I biased? Hell no - Marco is to damn sexy!

Mike Huml
Slowboy -
d) independent buyers testing
http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/int...ifolds/dsm.htm

Then you got busted misquoting AMS trying to make it look like had the "same results". You have zero trust from me at this point. I dont care if your EVO runs 4 second 1/4 miles.
Pwn'd
quoted for truth.

Clearly then there are some more variations of the manifold being reproduced by others without concent.
Magnus, Is that the new design or the old design. I see it says original, but what version?
Again we didn't purchase it, install it or guarantee it. We simply posted about a product that had failed and is a piece of crap. So for those with this same product beware. If not then good luck. He is getting a stock manifold.

You have him look into a real magnus manifold since the current design makes more than a stock one.

DTM,

I would also suggest editing any reference to this manifold failure being related to Magnus in anyway since it clearly wasnt.
