Which is exactly why I volunteered to be the test guinnea pig for Marco's test. Regardless what anyone else says, I know now for sure for myself that nothing was trifled with, it was a straight install, and direct test. No more "he said, she said" crap.

DTM, good luck. Don't let anyone sway you and do what's right by you. Let the facts dictate the truth, not perception.

We may have to because it would be an accurate assessment of the claims mentioned above.

Either way it will be on our TA car with a 50 trim. Its rather small that flows about 57 lbs per minute.
Get to work you post *****. I have an excuse, I'm sitting waiting for the server to complete some tasks which allows me to goof off.

We gonna throw that thing on my car?

Wonder if we could cut the flange and put it on the X too? That would be interesting to see considering the way that car is picking up power left and right from simple bolt ons.

I edited my negative posts. Continue on.

While you all are testing BE SURE TO TEST THE ORIGINAL DESIGN THAT I TESTED AS I HAVE STATED ATLEAST 100 TIMES IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS. I could CARE LESS what the new stuff does. I have never run it, tested it or bad mouthed the new stuff Marco is making. My beef this entire time was on the original intake manifold. STOP putting words in my mouth, STOP using tests that are not relevant to that part as "proof" as it is NOT proof of anything. TEST THE ORIGINAL and the STFU.

Three things
1) the old manifold was tested by fourdoor, he posted on Buschurforums his results I put a link to them earlier in the thread. Why have you not responded to those results?

2) DynoFlash tested the old vs new magnus intakes and said they were the same.

3) Please post all the dyno runs from your testing of the magnus.

Dave, I don't have access to an old version. Do you want to sell the one that you have? And if people have not read what you posted a simple search will fix that. I have personally searched and counted on 10 different occasions that you have made that very clear.

if the original manifold didnt make power when you tried it in the past, what merit was there in trying the old design again when you know it didnt produce for you in the past?

isnt that like kicking a dead horse? lets see, it didnt work after the 2nd time i tested it, maybe i should try a 3rd

Okay thats a big negative, because number one that doesnt exist in that shape. Number 2 even if it was overstock a Magnus race manifold costs 3 times that amount list, so no one is going to sell a manifold for a third the price just because its overstock.

The question was asked to show a fake that said Magnus.

Such proof was provided.

I will ask you the same however, if there is a REAL dual plenum whatchamacallit I'd like to see a link to Magnus' site, a reputable DSM site, or a shop that purchased one directly from Magnus. Otherwise you can see why I would disregard your claims. That manifold is a single curved plenum that looks something like the old TopSpeed intakes for B series hondas adapted for use on a 4G63...and apparently that is sposed to fit an Evo.

We have enough cars in the stable that we could test it on both to be honest.

If you test it on a maf car it should show real gains. Keep us posted.

Well whatever you do don't test it on a stock ECU/MAF sensor car. Speed density is best so the boost, when set even, will keep the car running the same timing curve.
