***power Question****
I have an EVO MR with HKS Hi-Power exhaust and HKS BOV and about to get a 3" JIC downpipe and this kid i was talkin to was like u better be careful because since you have a catback exhuast and downpipe and BOV you cant push ur car because u might blow ur clutch or ur internals...i was liek are u serious, thats bullcrap??? what is this guy talking about??? thats bogus what he is saying, do u guys agree?
LOL aslong as you arent doing insane launches I dont see how anything he is saying is true..well clutch might wear a tad faster because of the added power( not much power) but the stock clutch is s*it anyway. Never heard anything about blowing internals, 4g63t engines are strong and proven.
internals, wtf is that guy smoking... clutch, he's right, if you drive like an *** and try to burn out all the time and launch like crazy and stuff... grandma it (the clutch) and you can be like me up at 20k miles with track days on the car and the stock drivetrain and clutch

1. If you want reliable, sound information regarding your EVO, neither consult nor listen to 'kids'.

do u guys agree?-----NO I don't agree.
If you drop the clutch above 5k (300+hp) many times you may risk breaking something or burning your clutch out. Damn use you head with your car and it will last a long time. I have 44k on the stock clutch, mods r in my sig.
Stock internals good to 600hp? I question this, Maybe 500. I don't think the valves or retainers would hold up thus trashing your motor.
It may hold 600 crank but for how long?
