Post My car just "QUIT" so did the A/C

was auto Xing and car came in and just "Quit" clutch to floor turned key- NOTHING lights on but nothing happening under the hood. would run fine with a push start.

here is what happened:

1. The launches at the start caused a wire to dislodge on the starter
2. The A/C connector came loose same way with harder than usual launches.

If this happens to you, dont panic, just look under the car for the wires that came loose re-connect them!!!!!

first time i heard of this.. guess you were the unlucky one to have a factory screw up.. time to get a torque wrench, and see what else they left loose..

No, once the connectors were reattached, problem gone!! they just came loose. Had Mitshu evo mechanic look at it, he was actually at the car show/autoX event, so he saw it when it happened.

Hehe that happend to me while installing my bushcur lower intercooler pipe. I was installing the turbo inlet pipe and the wire came loose off the starter. Took me 1 hour to figure out the problem. I checked every god damn fuse and wiring. I was having a panic attack. Lol then I saw it was the wire.

I'm pretty sure its just the starter wire, it came loose again! It starts/runs fine with a push-start, so It has to be the starter wire, but then again thats what my mitshu mechanic said.
