You need to bang on those hangers in order to get the Bushur FMIC to fit just right. Use a dead-blow and they move easily.

The front mount was kinked in the beginning (Before the headers)... and what would the headers have to do with the front mount anyways. The brackets that hold the intercooler are kinked. I never bothered to look if I could bend them to make it straight or not... I dont really care enough I guess. I still need to make a better lower IC pipe (Mine is kinda cobbled together) and boost leak the system and clean up the engine bay some but other than that it is great. I still need to figure out my fuel control and timing control but that is more of a waiting game than anything... Whatever is wrong with my drivetrain will probably run me about $1,500 to fix it. I dont really feel like going all the way to an EMS yet but dont feel like spending the cash for a 2nd Gen ECU and the DSM Link. The ECU Plus is leading the pack right now but it doesnt have any type of stutter box. Maybe I will just decide the EMS is the way to go... I dunno. Ill just get it reflashed to compensate for the injectors which SHOULD fix my timing and make it idle well. Then I will just tune for a little bit of fuel for pump gas and race gas and then hit the tracks (Whatever is wrong with the driveline will probably give up the first launch). Oh well.. Ill let you guys know what happens.

You paid $750 for the Buschur FMIC kit, it sits crooked on your car and you’re happy with that? If I paid $750 for a FMIC it better sit perfect without me taking a hammer and crow bar to get it fit properly.

Well everything all-together or just the turbo stuff or what? I dont feel making a price list on here AMS has a price list of pretty much whats in the car here http://www.automotosports.com/crazyevo8.asp

Just take out the EMS and the temp sensor. Takesome off from thier turbo kit. Add an AFC, swap thier clutch for a ACT 2900 and get rid of the cam gears. Add some guages, a scatter shield, a fuel pressure regulator and a built transmission. So yeah... my total for the major stuff (Not including nuts and bolts type crap) is $12,345

I guess when I get something to tune it correctly and running race gas it should beat any of those cars. It should be "capable" of running 10's so pick up a road and track mag and read how many cars run mid to high 10's. Thats what it would be comparable to I suppose.

I just dont know how comfortable I feel tuning with the EMS... I cant even get thier software to work easily on my damn pc.. I have used the DSM Link and it is easy to use and I get the results I expect (I assume the ECU Plus is close to the same). I just don't know if the EMS is over my head or if it will be alot easier once I get it up and running. The other problem is the damned cost. $500 or $2000.... there is a big difference. Granted the EMS is better but is it worth $1,500 more? Mathematically speaking the horsepower gain per extra dollar spent would make it a very expensive mod but I dunno. I guess it depends on how much it costs me to fix my mysterious drivetrain problem.
