Nevermind. You're right. A 3.5 bar sensor actually reads from -14.7 psi to 36.75 psi, not from 0 psi to 50.75 psi.
Map Min
Units: Voltage (0% load)
Description: This is the minimum voltage output that the load (MAP) sensor is
capable of producing at it's lowest pressure value. Example: AEM 3.5 bar sensor = .5
volts at -14.7psig
Map Max
Units: Voltage (100% load)
Description: This is the maximum voltage output that the load (MAP) sensor is
capable of producing at it's highest pressure value. Example: AEM 3.5 bar sensor =
4.5 volts at 36.75psig

I wasnt lying about it
I just hate these damned cars.... I need to buckle down and replace the motor so I dont worry so much. So this is my plan of attack:
1- Get bigger injectors (Maxxing the hell out of the 780s)
2- Valve Spring (To rev to 10k.. probably will do this soon so I can rev it to 9k with stock block)
3- More aggressive cams (272/272 just doesnt seem to be enough)
4- Build bottom end (So I dont need to worry about 40+ psi)
5-Buy a 42r
6-Modify header to accept 42R if at all possible
7-Get custom exhaust piping (4") from front to rear of car
8-Get custom lower / upper IC pipes and a bigger front mount
9-Get ignition amplifier to take 40+ psi of boost
10-Get smaller brakes to fit new tires
11-Get new rims and rubber
12- FINALLY run the stupid thing the way I built it to
All that probably at the low low price of around $6 grand give or take a grand
I guess for now Ill run it the way it is and hope for something decent.
