EVO VIII final drive ratio?

Does anyone know the rear end (front should be the same) ratio in the EVO?
Example: 3.43:1

I searched this site and also googled with no luck.

While I'm here, does anyone know of a factory LSD from a front engine rear drive car with a final drive ratio between 3.10 and 3.50? Must come from an independent rear suspension setup.

To answer the obvious question (why do I need this info?), I am researching for a project.

Thank you.

I know that there are some 4.11 final drives overseas that have been made for previous models not sure on the fitment to the US Evo 8's. Another person to contact would be Jon @ TRE, as they are making a custom final drive that is a 3.83 I believe.

I don't think the final drive is in the rear differential, it should be in the tranny. So I guess the real answer to your question is the ratio is 1:1 for the rear diff?

This is true and it works very well. It's going to be a good summer for the EVOs.

What about custom gear sets for 4th & 5th gear? I would love to have shorter gears. I have been thinking real hard about the 4.89 final drive.
