Service Engine Soon light? Help Please!
I was driving home from work last night with my AC on. When I pulled into the complex I live in the RPMs dropped and the car stalled out. It took 3 times to start the car back up and when I did, the service engine soon light came on. Does anyone have any idea why i would get this warning, what it could be and how do I clear it off? I have the mail in flash from dynoflash, do you think that could have anything to do with it? I have had the ecu flashed for a while now and only stalled maybe 3 times total, and the last time was about 2 weeks after I got the ecu back. Please help.
I will basically have the same mods as you and i'm getting flashed within the next few weeks. I think the problem could be related to your intake and the Mass air sensor. Go down to autozone or advance auto parts and have them check to see what code your ecu threw. That will tell you your problem. Don't clear it until you know exactly what code it is.
So I went to autozone and got the codes:
P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor
P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor
The guy told me to unplug the battery to let the CEL reset itself and see if the warning comes up again. He said that when it stalled it may have messed with the sensors, kinda like a burp. Well, we shall see
