Evo8 Cylinder Head Torque

I have had an HKS Headgasket 1.2m with ARP bolts for almost a year now, somebody told me that it is a good idea to " RE TORQUE" the head, is it true?

yes, after you start the car and let it warm up, retorque them.

Actually retorque them a few times in the next few months.

If it hasn't moved in a year I would say you are fine. Most of the time with the ARP bolts if they are installed properly they won't need to be retorqued but alot of people will check them for piece of mind.

Yes, it would be a good idea to make sure that torque is in spec, especially if you have head studs.
