I hear you I really do, I just don't want a big wing on it when i'm in colelge......too cold, not needed etc......But summer when i'm home i'd be ill, so i just don't know..

If anyone has a lancer evolution like ratboy or claudius, can you tell me how your wing is attached? like bolted under the hood so it can come off easily with screws? Let me know pleassssse.....Thanks a lot, and anyone else who would know

I'm curious about other posters here, how many of you participate in organized motorsports activities and what kind.
Please don't be so condescending. Do you really think you are the only one here who autocrosses?

SC~ who autocrosses and attends track events

I'm sorry if you think I was being condescending here. I know a lot of people here do Autox.

Obviously the people who don't participate in any events aren't going to even reply to my Q. All I wanted to know what kinds of motorsports posters on this forum are involved in. I'm wondering if there are possibly any who even rally in here? Is that such a bad thing to ask?

Na i think its a good question. Me personally, I don't or know anyone who does.....but I wouldn't be surprised if people who do rally would def come into this forum to give valuable advice. I know claudius has a hooked up Evo and races with it so he's a good guy to talk to. Another person Mr. ALL wheeldrive I think races but doesn't have an EVO.

Nope...nothing wrong with what you asked....but a lot of people seem to be having problems with the WAY you are asking things and questioning people.

If you want to know if anyone rallys here, you should ask that directly.

Oh, my bad. I never even looked that far down the forum list. Never knew there was a motorsports forum. Thx.

So many opinions since I last posted... SuperStar, the evo is an amazing car either way. I like the big wing, like somebody said before it's a part of the Evo "heritage" (10 years, ok that's not a lot but still). Look at the evo 6's wing...now that was a cool one!

I don't think I've actually ever seen a Evo owner without the big wing...you might be the first

Talking Salt and Pepper

As some Honda enthusiasts pointed out to me a few weeks ago, a larger, higher wing will improve your ability to transport salt and pepper shakers from point "A" to point "B".
