2.5" VS 2.25" IC PIPING ?'s

I'm trying to decide between the Logic Performance Intercooler Piping Kit and the Helix kit. The LPI kit uses 2.5" piping and the Helix has 2.25" piping. Any advantages with the 2.5" piping? Any reviews/recomendations on these kits? Also, I read on another thread that the Helix kit doesn't come with TBolt clamps anymore. Does anyone know what size/how many clamps I would need? Thanks.

more flow?

what i dont understand on some of the lower pipings are that they have some taper at the end of their pipe where the pipe meets the intercooler.

is there a reason why that's there? I think it's for the silicone to connect to the pipe, but really, there are other lower ic pipes that doesn't have that little taper.

I'm interested in some reviews as well. I've been looking at the Helix kit for a while.

Helix IC pipings will work great with stock turbo and FP white setup. I would recommend a larger diameter IC pipings if you are running a GT30 or larger turbo.

Thanks,
Tom

what pipes dont?? i read that the opening where the taper meets the turbo is only 2" and that is why there is a taper.

The AMS does. I have it and it looks only slightly bigger in some areas over the stock part. I am planning to compare the LIP lower section as soon as the kit arrives. I assume it is the same as the AMS but one piece versus two.
