EGT temp...winter vs summer

How much of a difference is your EGT guage temp during winter and summer? It is getting hot here and today I say it rise up to 1600F when I was flooring it. I was close to 6k rpm and it looked to me it could go up to 1700 or maybe 1800F the way it was climbing. I didnt go past 1600 just to be safe until I get a tune. What are your EGT temps in the summer time?

I see up to a little bit past 1600 untuned at WOT sometimes. It looks sometimes like it wants to go higher, but it doesn't so I wouldn't worry about that unless you're up to 17 then I would let up. Haven't had it in the winter yet. What do you guys see at idle? I see anywhere from 10 to 12 depending on warm-up and such. it mostly sits at 10.5-11 though after warmup. #2 runner in the exhaust manifold.

I doubt a thermostat will do anything for EGT temps
