My trip to Dyno4mance

I talked to Andrew numerous times on the phone in preparation for my trip to Georgia from Florida Tampa area to get tuned for my AMS GT35R turbo.
I arrived Friday A.M. Andrew arrived 8:45 discussed what I expected from the tune and then proceted to work on the car. There were several issues with the turbo setup as far as the wastegate. There was not a positive pressure hose, so I needed a nipple welded onto the aluminum intercooler line. Andrew said he would take it 25 miles up the road to have the nipple welded on dropped us off at a hotel on the way so we could get some much needed sleep. Andrew said he would come back and start tuning the car and when we were ready we could call and he would come pick us up. We called at three oclock picked us up and continued to tune the car. He was concerned the car was not making the power he expected so he questioned when I had the cams installed. The cams were off one tooth and we were able to zero them off because of the adjustable cam gears as soon as that happened it made 20 additional horse power.
Andrew finished the 93 octane map for the xede he started to tune it for methanol injection with the SMC kit. Didnt finish tuning until almost 7pm at which point Andrew took me for a ride in the car and all I can say is O.M.F.G. I can not believe how fast the car is and we only put a conservative tune on it.
To make a long story short Andrew's knowledge, customer service, was excellent each problem that came up Andrew was able to handle. I can not say enough good things about the service I recieved and the price for all this attention was very resonable and alot less than what I expected. I would highly recomend him to anybody and would make the 9 hour trip again.
Modifications are- AMS GT35R turbo, xede, 264 272 cams, vishnu adjustable cam gears, APR head studs, vishnu exhaust with high flow cat, AMS intercooler, 255 walbro pump, exedy twin plate clutch, 880 injectors, SMC alcohol injection.
93 octane conservative map is 350 horse
93 octane methanol map conservative tune first one he has done is 384 horse.
He was able to run the methanol map 4 times 4 times on the dyno with 4-5 minute cool down between run and was within 1 horse each time. I am very happy and very pleased. Thank-you again Andrew.
Please take note these horsepower number are on a low reading D.D. Dyno like Shivs.

Thumbs up

I cant agree with you more on the dedication/workmanship and sheer joy to have someone like Andrew there to help us get the job done!!! He wont sell you something you DONT need, and will go WAY BEYOND the call of duty to help tweak/repair the car, and it also seems that he wont be happy UNLESS we are happy with the whole expierence. I was and still am.

My only complaint is the soda machine took a dollar from my 7 year old twins, and if you happened to get a "free" soda while there, send the coke COD!! JK
