The Garrett T67 is HUGE, nothing like the small Greddy T67 kit. To give you an idea the T67 is what I had on my tube chassis car that ran 7.8 at 175 mph. This is a full T4 turbo.

The T350 wheel is not small. Its actually a proven combination with the T67 compressor wheel back in the day before GT wheels were all the rage. The .63 exhaust A/R is probably a little too tight though.

I still think it is kind of small for this compressor, especially in a .63 T3. If I was going to try the .63 if would definately be with a p-tirm to help reduce the intake to exhaust pressure. On one of our motors you are looking at running 35psi+ to get the what you want from this compressor, in which case you need more turbine housing and wheel. I am sure the pressure ratio is strting to get ugle at higher pressures. That is all I meant.

Geoff- I just posed this question in the DSM part of your forums the other day if you want to take a look

When does boost come on? I will be doing Sheare's BBT-67 kit soon on the stock bottmom end and am wondering how well the spool is....A little worse than a 35r I would guess?

I ran a Garrett T67 on the 2g. TO4S cover, O-trim in an .82 t3 housing. With a 2.3 I was getting 29 psi at something under 5k rpm. That was the highest boost I ran before I parted the car, but it moved 65 lbs/min at that boost level on the 2.3. With a 1.8 60 foot it was good for 11.3 at 126, but I lost the motor in 4th due to running a 255LP pump. Didn't realize it was out of steam until I looked at the logs later on. There was definitely a 10 second pass in this thing even at that boost level, with more boost it's a very good turbo. Nice step up from the 35R based turbos. It was too close to the end of the season so I bailed out on the setup, so I didn't get to try it at higher boost levels, which is still dissappointing even 2 years later.

Mind me asking who build this turbo for you? I have always been contemplating to purchase this but worried bout the lag it might have over the GT35R.
