quite a lot of money for such a poorly designed adapter.

On c 16 I'm sure it could match Henderson's 590 hp. Maybe you should ask Jerry if he's heard of Vishnu.
Boy that's REAL generous on the drivetrain loss. If you made 401 on 107 octane, you aren't gonna make close to 600 on c-16.

^^he means 400 on a DD is about 550 crank horsepower (supposedly)

and 590 (crank hp) is pretty damn close to 550 crank hp.

Open your eyes buddy

The adapter, with a GT30R and stock manifold, will support over 400whp on our DD dyno. This is approx 500whp on an AWD Dynojet. On a GT35R, I'd expect to see another 30-40whp at least. Although I do expect the stock manifold to be compromise at this point. Time will tell, I suppose.

Cheers,
shiv

27% drivetrain loss, i think you're the person that needs to open your eyes up. And i'm pretty sure he meant 590 to the wheels. Because it takes that much hp to run a 10.6 in the quarter.
By your math, if he had 424.8 hp to the wheels, he would have enough hp to run a 10. Amazing?

The AMS kit is a very good kit. We've sold and installed quite a few of them. I dont think you can go wrong with it. However, our Stg 2 kit meets another set of needs that some people appear to have. Just pick what you're looking for and enjoy.

I'm sold on the hp. Do you have dyno charts to show how it spools up? When does it make full boost? I'm ready to buy but I don't want lag. How much for a fully tuned setup with 550hp just like you stated above? I want to show my friend the dyno and shut him up about his doubts on the turbo adapter. thx

Drivetrain loss is drivetrain loss no matter what dyno you're on. Plus it's on a dyno dynamics which is a loading -type dyno. I think those numbers are realistic and the dynojets read higher. But to say it has 27% drivetrain loss is ridiculous. I think the goals of the brake hp are unrealistic and that people make up extreme drivetrain loss percentages to make up for the missing hp.

yes Chris's car makes 590 hp at the wheels. They estimate it at 700 hp at the fly. I'm told that 400 wheel hp is 450 to 475 fly hp tops. which is still fine for me because I don't want to go through clutch problems like he does. How much for a fully tuned setup?
