Question What bolts did you use on your aftermarket downpipe?

AFTERMARKET DOWNPIPES ONLY

Just curious if more people discard the stock bolts with springs or if they reuse them.

Installing my DP tonight.

i have a buschur and it doesn't use the stock donut.... it also came with it's own bolts and springs..... which is a must since i tried to reuse the old ones and they would just get in the way of the actual piping since it's bigger

sup D (got my text)? yeah used the stock bolts for the Espelir DP...but gotta check it again thought, I think I may have to go with a shorter bolt or put a washer or two on the stock. Sounds I'm hearing, it's like a leak but I checked but no leak anywhere else.

Megan downpipe with stainless steel bolts, lock washer, flat washer, anti-seize... the damn thing comes off all the time... good bolts!

I highly suggest getting your own for any downpipe that does not use the OE donut correctly.

On my HKS dp I was instructed to re-use the stock spring bolts... The problem is that when they are loose, the dp leaks and when they are tightened the whole way down, the springs are fully compressed. I posted a thread about this and no one seemed to know anything.
