Install complete.....DP very close to the oil pan.

Pretty loud......but sounds very good in my opinion.

Didn't pick up as much power as I expected to. Went from stock exhaust w/XEDE to full TBE with new XEDE tune. Feels like 25HP at best.

I picked up 27hp and 32 lbs trq when I installed my turboback. Then I picked up 47 hp more when I got tuned.

I don't doubt that at all....going from stock to stock with tune felt like more of a boost than the TBE.

On my Stock Spring bolts the threads were gone. Had to go with the aftermarket Buschur Ones no problems, So far.

I used some bolts from the hardware store 10 X 1.25 metric with lock washers. So far soo good. No leaks .... no rattles.... but every once in awhile during spirited driving....I do get a backfire.

As far as the spring over compressing..... I strongly suggest you use a torque wrench on those! If you over compress them you'll bend the small flange on the bolt that compresses against the O2 housing. The spring forces will bring the bolt heads to the required torque. I belive it is 37 ft *lb. ....... I am having a leak issue. But it is related to the Dp not seating correctly to the old OE donut. I am subsequently ording a new one from Mitsubishi to replace the old one. Still planning on using the old bolts however. Anyone elses DP run awfully close to the oil pan?

Thanks,
tim
The problem with using a torque wrench is this: I had it set for 37 ft-lbs and the only time it clicked was when the bolts were already fully threaded in the O2 housing. It just doesn't work with my HKS downpipe. Anyone else have an HKS downpipe? What did you do?

I have an HKS downpipe and I've been torquing my downpipe to o2 housing bolts down the same way and never had an issue. Once the bolts bottom out, I just torque them to 37 ft-lbs. I've never had a leak and the bolts have never come loose.

Thanks, I think you just clarified the whole mess for me finally... Seriously, I appreciate it.
