question. im considering swapping out my turbo with another with the 10.5 and helix 02 housing. my question is, what more would i need to break into the 11's. ive decided that 11.8 is my retirement point from this car game which is why i want to go the cheapest route to get there. will the 10.5, 02 housing, and perhaps a port and polished exh. manifold get me there? also im using straight up 91 octane. nothing more.

On 91 octane, very unlikely.

I agree with SuperHatch, it is highly unlikely to run 11's on pump gas unless you throw methanol injection in the mix. Also, the car is going to have to make a significant amount of horsepower (360-370 WHP) to hit 11's and you will need a low sixty foot time like 1.5 or 1.6

Because of the Opposite, wouldn't it be who to grab a IX compressor housing with the 10.5T when the housings become avail.?

Does anyone know if the IX has a 10.5T or the 9.8T?

the evo IX turbo has the 10.5t housing. as well as a bigger compressor housing to lower the lag, lighten compressor wheel and shaft, and same upgraded wastegate as the 05's. this turbo should be on the same level as the 6.5 TME. if not better, but we wont know until some people here in the states get their hands on it and test it.

I am not too impressed with that WR turbo, it ended up having the same fate as the ATP turbo. A lot of hype, but no real great power numbers...

what would propel me into the 11's on 91 oct? that it my ultimate goal right now. im thinking 11.8 at least. i dont want to spend the money for a GT35 even though it would for sure get me 11's and then some (if money wasnt an option i would). ive decided high 11's is enough for me, so the cheapest way there w/o alky injection is what im looking for.

Not on 91 octane you're not hitting 11s. With Meth, or C-16 11's are attainable....

A GT35 won't help your cause, you're limited on boost by the fuel, and the bigger turbo will only be laggier and ahve worse response than stock. It'll be harder to launch and you'll probably be slower on pump with a GT35 than with the stocker.
