boost guage needle vibrates bad

After my cams were put in I notice my boost guage needle is vibrating pretty bad during idle. It works fine and all but the way it bounces and doesnt keep still is bugging me when idling. Do you think it might have to do with the boost line, its not secured down just kinda hanging in the engine compartment which may also be vibrating as well.

What boost gauge are you using? I have the greddy gauge and my needle vibrated a lot before I put the restrictor in the line. That helped smooth things out.

hey my **** does the same thing i have a stock car. but my does it when i build boost. or ac on and at idel it move a bit. but i almost think its a leck from the boost gauge to it. or maybe even somewere else. but also happens most when hot out. so there for somthing with the hose going to it. so next time it happens in hot i will pull over but a zip tie on the hose where the t connecter is and see if stops the problem.

Boost should 'vibrate' at idle since the twin scroll turbine housing accentuates the pulse hits to the blades.
