Question for people with buschur upper ic piping and 1g bov
I have this piping with the 1g bov. Is there any other valve that will fit the flange on the piping?? OR If I get a different bov, will I have to have a new flange welded in?
Forge makes valves that fit. There are two of the older style (VTA and recirc) and they can also make an RS valve to fit. Expect to give up part throttle drivability over the 1G though.
You don't have to replace the flange.. I have swapped several different BOV's onto it.. I think the skyline/1G flange kits are available for most BOV's to make them bolt-on swaps. If you then decide to perminently run this new BOV, you can have the native flange welded on.
And I agree.. the 1G valve seems to have the best part throttle drivability, but in my case, it didn't hold boost as well as the other options I've used.

The HKS SSQV will also work, you just have to get the 1G flange that fits the HKS mount.
HKS 1G flange
I am currently using the 1G and I have to agree with MalibuJack. I've got a Forge recirc coming in soon with the 1G flange.
