Holy loss of torque
I installed some GSC 272/272 cams this past weekend...I can't believe how much low-end torque I lost. I had read about the 272's being a couple lbs short on torque on the low end, but didn't realize it would be this bad. Compared to the stock cams, my car feels like a 4cyl. Honda below 4k. Top end has improved but at quite the expense of low RPM power.
Is this something I can hope to have remedied by a re-tune? Right now I'm running a mail-in flash for 3" TBE, Helix Intake, Walbro Fuel Pump and boost controller set at 21psi.
It would be nice to get that torque back but I'm guessing since the retuning seems to only affect WOT/in boost driving I probably am out of luck...

the car pulls really hard up top but I definitely expected a bit more from all the "just installed my cams!!!" posts

My crank was at btdc while the valve cover marks were dead on. I went with valve cover markings.
