Ok, so i have had a turbo xs RFL bov in my car for the past few months now, its been working great. Took my car out for a 3rd gear pull and the boost dropped to 10psi at 5k rpm.
I went home and replaced it with the stock BoV. Took it out and dropped off to 10psi again. At this point i dont know why its not holding, the car is basically stock.
I remember seeing a thread before and warralton said something about the snorkel part of the intake gets stuck under the hood if the clips arent holding it down. I have the clips on the snorkel, but i said what the hell let me just try taking it off.
I take off the snorkel part, and take the car for a pull. It holds boost all the way to redline. Any suggestions what i should do?The clips are holding the snorkel down so i dont know why it would be stealing boost through the hood.
