relocating bov with i/c pipe

relocating bov with i/c pipe

i have a question i have a buschur intake but when i buy the upper i/c pipe kit i move the bov up their! so wat do i do with the flange where the bov used to be on the intake just plug it? this would def. look like crap! is their anyway around that?

Are you asking if the bov should be routed back into the intake? Yes, unless you want the car to have stalling problems at idle. I've linked a picture from buschur's site that shows the upper ic pipe, bov and intake pipe that may help.

There is no flange on the intake for a BOV to be mounted. There is an inlet made for a recirculation hose to be routed from a BOV to the intake. If you plan on using the stock MAF, plan on still using that recirc inlet and recirc hose with your BOV and new upper i/c piping.

if you run the bov recirculated the outlet/discharge hose should run to the intake, you might have to buy a new hose to do this.

If the bov is run vta then you have to plug the intake up

That is correct, you can just plug it. The easiest way to get around that recirc hole is to buy an intake without one.
