same thing, still not working. We actually got it started, but it's running PIG RICH really really bad. We have to keep our foot on the throttle to about 3k rpms to even keep the car running and while it actually runs, a heavy black smoke is shooting out the tail pipe the WHOLE TIME. As soon as we let our foot off the gas the rpms drop down all the way and the car dies, fouling out the plugs. After the car turns off we can walk behind the car and see all kinds of black "soot" buildup on the wall behind the car. The car is definetely running very very rich. What could be causing this? The only other variable left is the ECU. Somebody please tell us that it must be the ECU since the cam timing is perfect and the fuel pump is working properly. Thanks!

if you have the stock ecu.. tow the car to a mitsu dealer and have them reflash the ecu... the car should at least run on it's own after that..

has the car ever had the PO300 flash? If so, and you didnt tell Dynoflash about it, the car probably wont run until you get it reflashed for the PO300

Cool

how about the o2 sensor plug that is under the spark plug cover?? is that plugged all the way in?? check, just to be sure, that the mass airflow sensor plug is plugged all the way in also...your car will start and run like you described if the MAS is not plugged in...

i know you said that you've double checked the fuel pump and tried the old one, but mine did the same thing because i forgot to put the little white snap on the new pump when i put the rubber grommet back on.

haven't gapped the plugs yet, but surely the car would at least turn on and idle on its own without our help of pushing down the gas. Something is not right here...oh ya, Al at DynoFlash said it seemed as if our ecu had been reflashed by the dealership previously and he told us that there are a few different tunes he would have to try. Guess that might be our problem..
