How do you have it routed to the IC
the Injen UICP and intake fits good although the filter does push against the IC sprayer reservoir, no big deal though. mine came with the car when i bought it. unless you're getting a good deal on them, i thing there are cheaper options for UICP and intake.

i don't know what you mean by how do i have it routed. you can only mount it one way and it's design to be use with the stock IC. so you don't have to do anything special with it to use the XSP IC.

Joe's EVO8, thanks for the offer, how much can you get me the ebay intercooler for. Ebay vendors came back to me for about $100 for the intercooler and 29 shipped. I'm still looking for people to donate money for dyno test. It's going to cost about $70 dollars to have before and after dyno numbers. Any donation will help so the sooner the faster results.

Oh, on another note, each time I dyno my car you could tell the numbers where getting worse and worse because of heatsoak. Each dyno run accompanied a 15 minute cool down + water being sprayed at the intercooler and upper intercooler pipping (each cool down period). Hopefully if I get this together there will not be any cooling down time after each run.

This should put an end to all this bickering.......
if you're going to do this test, you should find a way to monitor the charged air temp before and after the IC and the air pressure before and after the IC. this would be a more valid test.

create another post if you want to raise money for your dyno test project.

You can't really test an intercooler's efficiency with a dyno test.

Then who's got the tools to do this? THere's so many evom members and no one has access to anything? Common guys! So I'm assuming dyno testing isn't what you guys are looking for then? Tell me what you guys want and I will investigate with some of the tuner vendors in my area.

Ok I have the pics on my car I will upload real quick and send a link....By the way i need new screws for the mounting brackets. They are really really really soft metal. I need to go to Ace. Do you have an upper shot of the Injen pipe and the IC? I want to see how they go.

Looks like a nice obstruction on the right side there. Probably reinforcing the bottom side brackets or something

seriously, if this intercooler is garbage like many say. why don't big companies do testing with their products against the ebay ones. Proving that Ebay intercoolers are garbage would just increase their sales and make people think twice before buying Ebay stuff. I could care less what someone says without numbers to prove it...
