I didn't get it anywhere. Not trying to be rude but it's just common sense. Remember that the Evolution's US release was actually delayed by the DOT's issues with it running a front mount. I'm sure they were taking in mind the fact that the vehicle would be incapacitated for the most part if a massive amount of unmetered air was introduced into the system like that which would be seen from a frontal collision compromising the intercooler.

I am not buying it....

Frontal low speed crash test failures usually involve a dollar figure for repairs being exceeded and not a case of incapacitation.

Awesome It's info from back before the community turned into what it is now. Heck, it's from back when we were still foaming at the mouth just to get the cars here.

The 1G DSM crash bar is no fiber glass. Those ****ers (both front and rear) are 65lbs+ in weight. Trust me, you are not easily cutting those without a torch.

I can't say I'm a fan of this IC at all.. I hate how it looks and the lower pipe is in my opinion worse than stock because of the second set of clamps.

Yeah, DSMs had their problems but coming out of an accident in second best shape wasn't one of them.

Is it possible to fit this without cutting undertray? XS and stock seems same height but i think clamp is angled wrong.
I've been trying to install but could not get it straight so going to try tomorrow.

i don't think there's a way you can mount it with out cutting the under tray. it sticks down about 1.5"-2"
