after reading Buschur's post about cleaning the inside of the IC, i decided to do mine and got a chance to take some more pics. when i did the original post, i didn't know there was going to be a much headed debate about this IC, so here are some more pics to clear up some misconceptions.
i also weight the IC and it turned out to be 22 lbs with the backets on.
the front view

driver side hose

passenger side hose. notice that on both side, the hose have to be straighten a little. this is where most people have the problem. but notice there are no kinks in the hose.

top bracket

bottom bracket

the welds, not bad for a 12 years old kid, huh. not a perfect roll of coins but good enough to keep the boost in.

outside cooling fins

inside cooling fins

another shot of the inside cooling fins. some of the inside fins are bent because i was using compressed air to dry out the IC after i cleaned it.

all jokes aside, i do have two jack stand under the car, each next to the jack on each side (you just can't see it in the pics). the front jack is holding up the engine since the tranny is. i try to be very cautious when working under the car or when the engine is running. i witness my friend lost a finger when the glove got pulled in by the timing belt and crushed his fingers. i had to drive him to the hospital.
edit: you can see part of the jack stand leg on the first pics next to the passenger side jack. oh, and the rear wheels are on ramps with the ebrake on.

My problem is with the connecting ports of the IC and the bottom brackets, I dont even have the bottom brackets bolted down they wont reach. Also The LICP JUST fits, I have the couplers extended as much as posible. I will take pics for you guys if you want........I will do that tonight.

So it's pretty safe to say this intercooler is better then the stock intercooler? Will it perform and cool better then stock? Who wants to donate to my fund (dyno time: about $70 an hour), I will buy this intercooler and do a before dyno (stock intercooler) and after (ebay intercooler) dyno test. This should put an end to all this bickering.......
