Question On Exhaust Tapering!!!!
If i get the Fujitsubo RMa01, which is 3 " piping but tapers to 2.5 at the end and mate it with a RS*R 3" downpipe and testpipe. will there be problems? leaks? fitment issues? much restriction and loss in power than a full 3"?
please help me out.

I am running a Greddy Evo2 cat-back mated to a perrin cat delete and have no issues so far and I have been running this setup for about 8-9 months.
EDIT: The cat back necks down also, the flange holes are slotted instead of round so you can run the 3" test pipe. Not too sure about yours.

Well if installed well... you shouldn't get leaks. The taper will sort of be a "bottleneck" at the cat section. ALOT of people will tell you it's not going to make alot of difference, BUT if you can get one that's full 3" all the way for cheaper or same price...then why would you want the one with the taper?
If you like to read dyno sheet numbers, some people will prove that taper, would, make a difference. But if your butt dyno is happy... you might not care what the specific numbers are.
IMHO, I decided against getting the RS-R catback because of the taper it had. It's a nice looking/sounding exhaust, but i still decided against getting it. Go for what you want.
