2 weeks ago, my cometic got coolant leak. Blew after 6,000 miles running not more than 25psi. I am going with OEM one now)

Tomei - 1.0, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8
Cometic - not sure of available sizes

i was informed by my mech to skim the head (decked?) before replacing the gasket; but i am not sure which size to purchase?

care to help?
The thicker it is the more it will lower your compression ratio. Cometic will make any size you want but they have a 2-3 week lead time to make it. I really wish they kept gaskets in stock but they don't. They are made to order. I personally went with a slightly thicker HKS gasket on my Evo. There is nothing wrong with the OEM gasket. If you do want the Cometic my friend who owns a shop has a stock Evo size Cometic HP gasket that he will let go for 90. Good luck on your choice.
