Guys relax !

The first kits had a elbow

After testing it out with David Buschur we realized that the mist was so fine and total atomization of alcohol that it did not matter which direction we sprayed it into. We removed the elbow as it was a air flow restriction.

On the new set up - you simply drill a hole towards the end of the fmic pipe and the screw the nozzel oin from the inside of the pipe out to the brass T

We do it on the bottom of the pipe with the gauage pointed outwards so you can still see it when you need to but so that its still somehwat stealth - if you cath my drift

that is the same nozzle I got. The nozzle sprays upwards instead of parallel to the intake pipe. The gauge will be facing outwards towards you when you look at it standing in front of the car. I got real confused so I did a drawing in photoshop to confirm with Steve at SMC

So it looks like the spray can be either upward, downward, or sideway depending where you mount it on the IC Anyone done it sideway yet and I'm guessing you don't have to mount the nozzle close to the TB?

Methanol can be had by the 55 gal drum (~$150) from any industrial chemical supply. They'll even usually deliver it to your door. Get a $15 plastic drum pump from Grainger or any other industrial supply shop.

You can use 100% methanol with the SMC kit.

It's expensive because they buy it by the drum, dispense it into small containers and sell at a profit.
